Cleaning the air cleaner
1. Switch off the engine.
2. Let the machine cool off.
3. Open retaining clips and remove the lower air cleaner housing.
4. Remove the foam air cleaner from the upper air cleaner housing.
5. Remove any dirt from the upper air cleaner housing.
6. Clean the foam air cleaner in a soapy lather and then rinse it in clean water.
7. Allow the foam air cleaner to dry.
8. Remove the filter element from the lower air cleaner housing.
9. Clean the filter element in a soapy lather and then rinse it in clean water.
10. Allow the filter element to dry.
Note:
If dirt cannot be removed, replace the foam air cleaner or the air cleaner car-
tridge.
Checking the oil level
1. Check whether the oil level reaches the marking.
2. If the oil level is below the marking, add oil up to the marking.
Oil specification:
Fuchs Titan Unic 10W40 MC (SAE 10W40)
Note:
Never fill oil above the marking.
If the oil is very dirty, change it as soon as possible.
