8 Cleaning and Maintenance

2. Pull out electrode holder 3 and nozzle 2.
3. Gently turn cylindrical union nut 5 (bayonet fitting) and pull it off.
4. Unscrew contact ring 6.
5. Pull off O-ring 4.
6. Clean all components thoroughly and remove any powder residues.
7. Replace the wearing parts with new components.
8. Assembly in reverse order.

8.9 ASSEMBLY OF THE CORONASTAR
The CoronaStar is a retrofit set for the robot spray gun, which helps to achieve an even
better surface quality (e.g., reduction of "orange peel").

1. Guide plug-in contact 1 of the CoronaStar into the drilled hole B on the shoulder.
2. Attach clip 2 of the CoronaStar onto the housing.
Flexible positioning in a range of ± 90° is possible.
