NOTE!
It is necessary to have a PC with an EtherNet card connected to the same network of the Soft-
Starter SSW-06 and a WEB browser (MS Internet Explorer or Mozilla/Firefox.
2.3.8 Configurations
Follow the steps below to operate the Soft-Starter SSW-06 in an EtherNet/IP network.
1) Install the KFB-EN kit into the Soft-Starter SSW-06.
2) At parameter P309 select the EtherNet/IP protocol and the number of input/output words, P309 = 7, 8 or 9.
3) Connect the RJ-45 plug of the EtherNet cable to the Soft-Starter SSW-06 and make sure that the Link LED is
ON (LED 1).
4) Open your WEB browser and type the Soft-Starter SSW-06 address on the network. The factory default
value is ‘http://192.168.0.1’. Make sure that JavaScript and cookies are enabled in the WEB browser.
The data access is protected by username and password. The Soft-Starter SSW-06 has the following factory
default values: Username: web and Password: web.
