10 Decommissioning and disposing of the device
10.1 Decommissioning the device
► Switch o the printer.
► Disconnect the mains plug.
► Remove label material and transfer ribbon from the
printer.
► Pack the device in its original packaging.
The system is now ready for transport and, if necessary,
disposal.
10.2 Disposing of the device
► Decommission the device as described in chapter 10.1.
► Ensure that the device is disposed of in accordance with
national and local regulations.
The product contains substances that
may be harmful to the environment and
human health. In addition, it also contains
substances that can be reused through
targeted recycling.
