programmer will do nothing but go back to “Set Project” status. To press the “ENTER” key(or

the touch screen), the programmer will read data from the chip and use these data to replace the data
of this project in the programmer. But if the type of the chip is different from the type recorded in the
project or the chip is encrypted, this operation will fail.
CAUTION: If this operation is started, no matter it is successful or not, the data of the project will be
changed.
(4) Verify
Put a chip in the socket of the programmer, and use “↑” key or “↓” key(or
on the touch
screen) to select “Verify” menu. Then, push the “ENTER” key(or
on the touch screen). The
programmer will compare the data of the chip with the data of the project. If they are the same, the LCD
will display “Verify OK”. Otherwise, it will display “Verify Fail”. If the type of the chip is different from the
type recorded in the project or the chip is encrypted, this operation will fail.
9.2.7 Verify Password
If one project has a password, before the programmer goes into “Set Project” status, it will require user to
input the password. Press “↑” key or “↓” key to change the number and press “→” key to input it. Then,
repeat this operation to input the whole password. Press “←” key can delete the last input number. When
finishing inputting the password, press “ENTER” key. If the password is correct, the programmer goes into
“Set Project” status. Otherwise, the programmer will display “Password error!” and then go back to input
password interface. Press “ESC” key to go back to “Display Project List” status. (Using the keyboard on the
touch screen can input the number directly).
