List of common error messages
Error message Cause / Remedy
Run-time error ’50003’ when
starting the Windows program
The color depth of your PC is set to a value of less than “true color“
or 32 bit.
The color depth must be set to 32 bit.
Alarm 2:
Timeout Power supply Init
- The turn switch for the ACOPOS addresses could be wrong. They
are set by the manufacturer and should not be changed. => cf.
Electrical documentation.
Alarm 8:
CAN I/O (CX408) interrupted
- If no I/O module is connected, all wired inputs and outputs must be
deleted in the I/O configuration dialog or be replaced by Profibus
bits.
- If an I/O module is connected, check the CAN connection between
ACOPOS and I/O module. Furthermore, the bridge “TERM”
(terminating resistor) to the last I/O module must be wired, or the
modules CAN – Address could be wrong adjusted.

Motor error or encoder error
- Pins in the motor plug / encoder plug are pushed back. If the plugs
of the HP140 are not assembled correctly, the pins are pushed back
internally. => Switch off system, unscrew cables on motor and
check, whether the pins are pushed back (especially those of the
encoder plug).
- Encoder is actually damaged.
