Grading
When the vocal grading function is engaged, after
playing play-along songs, it will give you a grading
score automatically according to your performance.

SETUP MENU
The Setup mode is used to set up or to adjust various
parameters related to the operation of the Serenade.
Setup procedure:
Equalization
Reverb Type
Reverb Level
Chorus Type
Chorus Level
Split Point
Auto A.Splt
Accomp Type
Harmony
Harmony Type
Touch
Transpose
Octave
Master Tune
Vocal Grade
Local
Reset
1. Press the SETUP button to enter setup mode.
2. Press the SETUP button repeatedly to select a
function item, thus allowing you to edit.
3. Press the +/YES button to confirm the function
selected for editing. The current value/parameter of
the item will be shown.
4. Use the -/NO or +/YES button to edit the value/
parameter.
5. Press the SETUP button again to fix the last item,
then turn to the next item.
To Exit the SETUP mode press any button except the
-/NO, +/YES, or the SETUP button itself.
The following functions can be selected in the
SETUP mode.
Equalization
TheEqualizationfunctionwill“EQ”oradjustthe
“Tone”oftheinternalsoundoutput.
Press the SETUP button once to enter the EQ setting
and“Equalization”appearsontheDisplay.Usethe+/
YES, -/NO buttons to select which EQ type you desire.

The available EQ types are listed below:
Bright – Boosts the Treble for a Brighter tone.
Bright Midrange – BooststheTrebleandMidrange.
Midrange Boost – BooststheMidrangeFrequencies.
Bass Midrange – Boosts the bass and midrange. This is
the default when the accompaniment is engaged.
Bass Boost – Boosts the Bass for a deeper tone.
Flat – All10EQBandsaresettotheirMidLevels.
Classical – StandardEQsettingforClassicalMusic.
Jazz – StandardEQsettingforClassicalMusic.
Rock – StandardEQsettingforRockMusic.
Pop – StandardEQsettingforPopMusicPiano.This
is the default EQ setting for this piano for general
piano play.
