DANGER
Danger to life due to dangerous lone work-
ing!
Working in pump chambers and tight spaces as well
as working where there is a danger of falling is dan-
gerous work. This work must not be carried out
alone! A second person must be present for safety
reasons.
WARNING
It is forbidden for people to be present in the
working area of the pump!
During pump operation people can sustain (serious)
injuries! Therefore no persons are allowed in the
working area during operation. If people have to en-
ter the working space of the pump, the pump must
be decommissioned and secured against unautho-
rized switch-on!
WARNING
Sharp edges on the impeller and suction port!
Sharp edges can form on the impeller and suction
port. There is a danger of limbs being cut off! Pro-
tective gloves must be worn against cutting injuries.
Fault: Pump does not start
1. Interruption in the power supply or short-circuit/
ground fault on the core or motor winding.
Have the connection and motor checked by a
qualified electrician and replaced if necessary.
2. Triggering of fuses, the motor protection switch or the
monitoring devices
Have the connection and monitoring devices
checked by a qualified electrician and changed if
necessary.
Have the motor protection switch and fuses in-
stalled or set according to the technical specifica-
tions; reset the monitoring devices.
Check impeller for ease of operation, clean hy-
draulics if necessary.
Fault: Pump running, after a short time the motor
protection triggers
1. The motor protection switch is incorrectly set.
Have the setting of the trigger checked by a quali-
fied electrician and trimmed.
2. Increased power consumption due to major tension
drop.
Have the tension values of the individual phases
checked by a qualified electrician. Consult the
power supply operator.
3. Only two phases present on the connection.
Have the connection checked and trimmed by a
qualified electrician.
4. Tension differences too large between the phases.
Have the tension values of the individual phases
checked by a qualified electrician. Consult the
power supply operator.
5. Incorrect direction of rotation.
Have the connection trimmed by a qualified elec-
trician.
6. Increased current consumption due to clogged hy-
draulics.
Clean hydraulics and check inlet.
7. Density of the fluid is too high.
Contact customer service.
Fault: Pump running, no flow rate present
1. No fluid present.
Check inlet, open all gate valves.
2. Inlet blocked.
Check inlet and eliminate clogging.
3. Hydraulics clogged.
Clean hydraulics.
4. Pipe system on the pressure side or pressure hose
clogged.
Eliminate clogging and if necessary replace dam-
aged components.
5. Intermittent operation.
Check switching system.
Fault: Pump running, duty point is not reached
1. Inlet blocked.
Check inlet and eliminate clogging.
2. Slide valve on the pressure side closed.
Open all gate valves fully.
3. Hydraulics clogged.
Clean hydraulics.
4. Incorrect direction of rotation.
Have the connection trimmed by a qualified elec-
trician.
5. Air cushion in pipe system.
Vent the pipe system.
