Enabling Jet Substitution Mode
1. At the printer control panel, use the arrows to navigate to Troubleshooting, then press OK.
2. Navigate to Print Quality Problems, then press OK.
3. Navigate to Eliminate Light Stripes, then press OK.
4. To find any weak or missing jets and the jet numbers, select Light Stripes Test page, then press OK.
5. Navigate to Jet Substitution Mode, then press OK.
6. Select the color for the weak or missing jet, then press OK.
7. Use the arrow buttons to enter the number of the weak or missing jet that you identified on the
Light Stripes Test page, then press OK.
8. To confirm jet changes, select an option.
Disabling Jet Substitution Mode
1. At the printer control panel, use the arrows to navigate to Troubleshooting, then press OK.
2. Navigate to Print Quality Problems, then press OK.
3. Navigate to Eliminate Light Stripes, then press OK.
4. Navigate to Turn Jet Substitution Mode Off, then press OK.
