Ink or Debris is on the Page
Probable Causes Solutions
The paper release blade is dirty. Clean the paper release blade.
The job is set to print 2-sided manually on pre-printed
paper but the paper type is not set to 2nd Side.
• To print on pre-printed paper, in the print driver or at
the control panel, select 2nd Side as the paper type.
• To clean ink smears, at the control panel, use the
Remove Print Smears procedure.

Predominant Light Stripes with Ink Missing from the Print
Probable Causes Solutions
There is dirt or debris in the exit door area. Open the exit door, then remove debris from the
paper-exit area.
The printhead is dirty. At the control panel, run the Eliminate Light Stripes
procedure.
