7. Insert the bypass tray back into the printer. Push the tray in all the way.
8. If the control panel prompts you, on the screen, verify the paper size and type.
a. Touch Size, then, for a standard paper size, touch an option.
b. Touch Type, then, for the paper type, touch an option.
c. Touch Color, then select the paper color.
9. Touch Confirm.
Clearing Paper Jams from the Tray 2–4 Area
To resolve the error displayed on the control panel you must clear all paper from the paper path.
Note: The procedure for clearing jams is identical for trays 2–4.
1. Pull out tray 2 until it stops.
2. To remove the tray, lift the front of it slightly, then pull it out of the printer.
