Installation and Licensing
This chapter provides instructions for installing the Spartan
®
-6 FPGA GTP Transceiver
Wizard in the Xilinx
®
CORE Generator™ tool. It is not necessary to obtain a license to use
the Wizard.

Before You Begin
Before installing the Wizard, you must have a MySupport account and the ISE 12.4
software installed on your system. If you already have an account and have the software
installed, go to
Installing the Wizard, otherwise do the following:
1. Click Login at the top of the Xilinx home page then follow the onscreen instructions to
create a MySupport account.
2. Install the ISE 12.4 software.
