3.4. Configuration C – Spread Spectrum Communications
3.4.1. Description
Figure 12 shows the RiverSurveyor system with wireless communications, in this case Spread
Spectrum communications using a PCM on a small unmanned boat, such as the SonTek Hy-
droboard. The maximum range of the Spread Spectrum radio link is approximately 2 km.
