D.3 Startup Error Codes
If front panel lights do not behave as described in Section D.2 when you power up or initialize
the Terminal Server 720, the unit might be displaying an error code. A special pattern of
diagnostic codes indicate that a hardware or software error has occurred.
When a startup error occurs:
1. The port lights flash 10 times quickly.
2. One or more port lights illuminate (this is the first pass error code).
3. All port lights flash sequentially.
4. One or more lights illuminate (this the second pass error code).
This sequence repeats. Figure D-1 illustrates the self test error code sequence.
