Check and adjust
ignition
timing
as follows:
a.
Ignition
timing
is checked
with
a
tim-
ing light
by
observing
the
position
of
the stationary
pointer
on
the crankcase

timing
marks
on
the flywheel.

Retarded firing point.

Top dead center.
b.
Connect
timing
light
to
the spark plug

Start the engine and keep the engine

as
specified.
Specified engine speed:

d. The stationary
pointer
should line up
with
the
"F"
timing
mark
on
the fly-
wheel.
If
it
does
not
align, remove the
flywheel and loosen
the
pulser coil
base plate screws.
Move
the complete
base plate until
"F"
and the pointer
marks align.

PrOflampe geprOft. indem die Position
des stationär am Kurbelgehäuse ange-
brachten Zeigers
mit
der Position der
ZOndzeitpunktmarkierung am Sch-
wungrad verglichen wird.

platte bewegen. bis
die
Markierung

mit
dem Zeiger fluchtet.
