9. Tighten the filler cap securely.
10. Wipe up any spilled gasoline immediate-
ly with dry rags. Dispose rags properly
according to local laws or regulations.

Gasoline and oil mixing (100:1)
NOTICE

Avoid using any oil other than the spec-
ified type.
Use a thoroughly blended fuel-oil mix-
ture.
If the mixture is not thoroughly mixed,
or if the mixing ratio is incorrect, the
following problems could occur.
Low oil ratio: Lack of oil could cause
major engine trouble, such as piston
seizure.
High oil ratio: Too much oil could cause
fouled spark plugs, smoky exhaust,
and heavy carbon deposits.
If equipped with a portable fuel tank
1. Pour oil into the portable fuel tank, and
then add gasoline.
2. Replace the fuel tank cap and close
tightly.
