Sub-Transmission
1. Carefully inspect each gear. Look for
signs of obvious heat damage (blue dis-
coloration). Check
the gear teeth for
signs of pitting, galling or extreme
wear. Replace as required.
2. Check to see that each gear moves free-
ly on
its shaft.
3. Check the shifter rod assembly for
damage, wear and fatigue of springs.
