measurement place a ruler

ion - The c
hassis
is
of
a monocoque design.
It
is
a
si
ngle
unit
stamped steel frame. Checking the chassis
for
co
rro
sion a
nd
rust
is
very i
mportant
to
insu
re
strength and
r
eliability.
It
any corros
io
n
or
rust spots
are
found,
the
area sh
ould
be
san
ded and painted
with
a rust
proof
paint.
Any
welded and
fo
rmed parts
of
the
frame should be
c
he
ck
ed
period ically for cra
cki
ng
or
breaking.
Wh
en the machine
is
stored, the ch
assis
should be coated
with a
film
of
oil
or
light grease
to
prevent corrosion and
rust.
The
sh
r
ou
nd
is
painted f iberglass and should require
little
maintenance. Checking
for
cracking
will
insure
it
from
serious damag
e.
The
wind
s
hield
is
dear PVC and should require
no
maintenance. When
it
is
cleaned,
you
shou Id
attem
pt
to
wa
sh
off
any di
rt
or
mud
first
and then
wipe
it
off.
This
will
keep
sc
ratc
hes
to a
minimum
.

SEAT
The seat
is
a single
unit
of
foam
chips covered
with
vinyl.
If
the machine
is
allowed
to
sit
outside
for
any
period
of
time,
the
seat
ca
n be removed
to
prevent weathering
by
unsnapping
the
cover
from
the
chassis.

LUGGAGE
BOX
The luggage
box
in
the engine
room
is made
of
a glassfiber
and secured
with
five pan head screws.
As illustrated, the longer screw is used
for
position
marked
# 1 ,
while
the shorter one is
for
# 2.
The
luggage
box
shou Id be used
for
storing
spare
oil,
service
tools, ropes, etc.
Avoid
storing such a
thing
as
to
cause a
serious accident
when
the
machine runs against something.
