The strength of the rear sp ring is ad justable to tw o
positions according to snow and running condi tions .
a)
To make the steeri ng more positive, the rear spring
should be hung on the front hook to raise the rear of
the machine .
b) To increase traction, the rear spring s hould be hung on
the rear hook to lower the rear of the machine.

The fr ont axle, rear axl e, and bog ie wh eel asse mblies must
be taken
out of the chassis in order to remove the track.
The track
ca n then be I ifted out of the c hassis.

If th e center I ink plate of the driv e track c omes otf the
sp rocket, the dr ive track rubber wi ll be quickly worn due to
contacts between t
he rubber and the sp rocket. Therefore,
t
he dr ive track should be checked frequently .
