Thelimitedwarrantysetforthbelowisgivenby MTDLLCwithrespectto
newmerchandisepurchasedandusedin the UnitedStates,itsposses-
sionsandterritories.
"MTD"warrantsthisproductagainstdefectsin materialandworkmanship
fora periodof two(2) yearscommencingonthedateoforiginalpurchase
andwill,atits option,repairor replace,freeof charge,anypart foundto
bedefectiveinmaterialsor workmanship.Thislimitedwarrantyshallonly
applyifthis producthas beenoperatedandmaintainedinaccordance
withtheOperator'sManualfurnishedwiththe product,andhas not been
subjectto misuse,abuse,commercialuse,neglect,accident,improper
maintenance,alteration,vandalism,theft,fire,water,ordamagebecause
ofotherperilor naturaldisaster.Damageresultingfromtheinstallationor
useofanypart,accessoryorattachmentnotapprovedby MTDforuse
withtheproduct(s)coveredbythis manualwillvoidyourwarrantyas to
anyresultingdamage.
Normalwearpartsarewarrantedto befreefromdefectsinmaterialand
workmanshipfora periodof thirty (30)daysfromthe dateof purchase.
Normalwearpartsinclude,butare notlimitedto itemssuchas: batteries,
belts,blades,bladeadapters,grassbags,riderdeckwheels,seats,snow
throwerskidshoes,shaveplates,augerspiralrubberandtires.

Thislimitedwarrantydoesnot providecoverageinthe followingcases:
a. Theengineor componentpartsthereof.Theseitemsmay
carrya separatemanufacturer'swarranty.Refertoapplicable
manufacturer'swarrantyfortermsandconditions.
b. Logsplitterpumps,valves,andcylindershavea separateone
yearwarranty.
c. Routinemaintenanceitemssuchaslubricants,filters,blade
sharpening,tune-ups,brakeadjustments,clutch adjustments,
deckadjustments,andnormaldeteriorationof the exteriorfinish
duetouse orexposure.
d. Servicecompletedby someoneotherthananauthorizedservice
dealer.

MTDdoes notextendany warrantyfor productssoldor
exportedoutsideofthe UnitedStates,its possessionsand
territories,exceptthosesoldthroughMTD'sauthorized
channelsofexportdistribution.
ReplacementpartsthatarenotgenuineMTDparts.
Transportationchargesand servicecalls.
No impliedwarranty, includingany impliedwarranty of merchant-
ability of fitness for a particularpurpose,applies after the applicable
periodof expresswritten warranty above as to the partsas identi-
fied. No other express warranty, whether written or oral, exceptas
mentionedabove,given by anypersonor entity,includinga dealer
or retailer,with respect to anyproduct,shallbind MTD.Duringthe
periodof the warranty, the exclusiveremedyis repairor replacement
of the productas setforth above.
Theprovisionsas setforth inthis warrantyprovidethe soleand
exclusiveremedyarising from the sale.MTDshallnot be liable
for incidentalor consequentialloss or damage including,without
limitation, expensesincurredfor substituteor replacement lawncare
servicesor for rentalexpenses to temporarily replacea warranted
product.
Somestatesdo not allowtheexclusionor limitationof incidentalor
consequentialdamages,or limitationson howlonganimpliedwarranty
lasts,sotheaboveexclusionsor limitationsmaynotapplytoyou.
Innoeventshallrecoveryof any kind begreaterthantheamountofthe
purchasepriceoftheproductsold.Alterationof safety features of the
productshallvoid this warranty. Youassumethe riskandliabilityfor
loss,damage,or injuryto youandyour propertyand/orto othersandtheir
propertyarisingoutofthemisuseor inabilityto use theproduct.
Thislimitedwarrantyshall notextendto anyoneotherthanthe original
purchaseror to the personfor whomitwaspurchasedasa gift.
HOWSTATELAWRELATESTO THISWARRANTY: Thislimitedwar-
rantygivesyouspecificlegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveother rights
whichvaryfromstatetostate.
