3.2.1 Chlorine produc on ac vated
When chlorine produc on starts, the "Start..." message is displayed on screen for about 6 seconds. "CHLORINATION" is
then displayed, indica ng that the appliance is producing chlorine.
3.2.2 "BOOST" mode: chlorine produc on increased to 100 % for 24 h
In certain cases the pool may need higher than normal chlorina on (stormy weather, high number of bathers, etc.).
"BOOST" mode is used to increase chlorine level quickly.

and simultaneously: "BOOST" is displayed on the screen and 100 % chlorine produc on
starts.

When "BOOST" mode is ac vated, the rated chlorine produc on se ngs are temporarily overridden and the
Ei² Expert chlorinator will operate for a total of 24 hours at 100 % chlorine produc on. The number of days will
therefore depend on the Ei² Expert opera ng mes (see “3.2.5 “SUMMER” and “WINTER” modes and se ng
the “Timers””).
3.2.3 "LOW" mode: chlorine produc on reduced to 10 % if the pool is covered
If the pool has a covering system (shelter, shu er, cover, etc.), "LOW" mode is designed to adapt chlorine produc on to
situa ons where the pool is covered (lower needs). Its purpose is to limit chlorine produc on to 10%.
If chlorina on is set to 0% when closing the shu er, "LOW" mode will keep the 0% se ng.
This mode is also called "Shu er" mode.
Manual ac va on (shelter, cover, etc.):
• Press bu ons
and simultaneously: "LOW" is displayed on the screen and chlorine produc on is reduced
to 10 %.
• To stop "LOW" mode, press
.
Automa c ac va on (compa ble with an electric roller shu er):
• Make sure the cover is compa ble and connected to the chlorinator (see “2.5.2 Connec on to an electric roller shu er”).
• "LOW" mode will automa cally be ac vated when the shu er is closed.
• "LOW" mode will stop as soon as the shu er is completely open.
3.2.4 Se ng the me
The Ei² Expert chlorinator is ed with an internal memory. When the appliance is rst switched on, it is
important to leave it powered on con nuously for at least 24 hours in order to ini ally charge the accumulator
(permanent separate power supply or ltering on permanently). Once charged, the accumulator has several
weeks of autonomy in the event of a power failure.
The me is displayed in 24-hour format.
• Switch on the appliance and wait un l the screen start-up sequence is nished.
• Press the bu on to access the user menu, the minutes will start to fl ash.
• Use the and bu ons to set the minutes, then press to save.
• Use the and bu ons to set the hours, then press to save.
• Press the bu on to return to the home screen.
