For more information on changing the mode of your Multy M1, refer to Section 7.11 on page 150.
Note: Choose your device mode carefully to avoid having to change it later.
When changing to another mode, the IP address of the Multy M1 changes. The running applications
and services of the network devices connected to the Multy M1 may be interrupted.
6.3 Standard Mode Overview
The Multy M1 is set to standard (router) mode by default. Routers are used to connect the local network
to another network (for example, the Internet). In the figure below, the Multy M1 connects the local
network (LAN1 ~ LAN4) to the Internet.
6.4 What You Can Do
Use the Status screen to view read-only information about your Multy M1 (Section 6.5 on page 127).
6.5 Standard Mode Status Screen
Click Settings > System > Status to open the status screen.
