4.4.3 Using a forklift
Do not lift drives with DTL com-
partment by a forklift.
• Transport the cabinet only with the short side
facing in the driving direction.
The recommended position of the forklift is on
the short side of the cabinet (4-3). This is the
cabinet side where the heaviest drive compo-
nents are located.
• Use forks of sufficient length to ensure stable
transportation and to prevent tipping.
The arrow in 4-3 indicates the minimum fork
length if the forklift is positioned on the right.
If the forklift is positioned on the left of the
cabinet, the forks must be as long as the cabi-
net.
• Insert the forks fully to transport the cabinet.
