Installing an expansion container
Use this procedure to install the expansion container.

Lift the robot using the lifting accessory and
place it in suspended position with the base
free for installation work.

Remove the cover and the o-ring from the
base.

Remove two existing attachment screws as
shown in the figure.

The screws must be replaced with longer
screws.

Remove the oil plug from the base.4

Fit a plastic plug in the expansion container
drain hole.

Oil volume: 0.4 lFill the expansion container with oil.6
