Figure 452: Execute output pulse
If the pulse is set to be adaptive, it is not possible for the pulse to exceed
tOpenPulse
or
tClosePulse
.
The execute output pulses are reset when:
the new expected final position is reached and the configuration parameter
AdaptivePulse
is
set to true
the timer
tOpenPulse
or
tClosePulse
has elapsed
an error occurs due to the switch does not start moving, that is,
tStartMove
has elapsed.
If the controlled primary device reaches the final position before the execution
pulse time has elapsed, and
AdaptivePulse
is not true, the function waits for the
end of the execution pulse before telling the activating function that the command
is completed.
There is one exception from the first item above. If the primary device is in open position and an
open command is executed or if the primary device is in close position and a close command is
executed. In these cases, with the additional condition that the configuration parameter
AdaptivePulse
is true, the execute output pulse is always activated and resets when
tStartMove
has elapsed. If the configuration parameter
AdaptivePulse
is set to false the execution output
remains active until the pulse duration timer has elapsed.
If the start position indicates bad state (OPENPOS=1 and CLOSEPOS =1) when a
command is executed the execute output pulse resets only when timer
tOpenPulse
or
tClosePulse
has elapsed.
An example when a primary device is open and an open command is executed is shown in
Figure
453.
