LEAP Audit
LEAP AUDIT is an analysis carried out by ABB personnel to show the real aging of the circuit-breaker.
Procedure
ABB personnel downloads the historical data present in the electronic trip unit of the circuit-breaker using
Ekip Connect software and provides them to the LEAP algorithm.
Report
By combining the historical data with the environmental and usage data of the circuit-breaker, the LEAP
algorithm produces a report, sent via e-mail to the customer, that shows the real state of the circuit-breaker
and any maintenance actions that need to be undertaken.

LEAP Stand Alone
LEAP STAND ALONE is an analysis carried out by an ABB specialist technician to show the real state of aging
of the circuit-breaker and the effectiveness of the maintenance carried out.
Procedure
The customer requests a maintenance intervention from ABB.
In addition to the information downloaded from the trip unit of the circuit-breaker via the Ekip Connect
software, the ABB technician also inserts environmental and usage conditions and maintenance actions
carried out. The resulting LEAP report provides a graphical representation of the state of health of the circuit-
breaker before and after the intervention of the ABB technician.
Report
The report, sent to the customer for e-mail, is completed with information on the installation conditions of the
circuit-breaker and on maintenance activities carried out, and it suggests the frequency of maintenance and
future maintenance actions.
