5 - Installation
The RS485 HALF-DUPLEX communication line is made up of two trans-
mission and reception cables (+T/R and –T/R) and a communication ref-
erence cable (RTN): all three cables must be connected in daisy-chain
conguration (it’s recommended to make connection external to the in-
verter).
The RS485 connection can be made by using the terminal block

The last inverter of a daisy chain shall be terminated: within the last in-
verter itself the provided jumper at the pins marked “120Ohm TERM.”
shall be placed in ON position in order to enable the termination the
RS485 communication line

If the RS485 communication line is used to connect an energy meter it will not be possible to
connect other unit with daisy-chain.
After the connection is completed RS485 inverter address have to be
chosen between 1 and 63.
The setting of the address on the inverter is done through the relevant
section of internal webserver (see the specic chapter).
Each inverter is supplied with the preset RS485 address “2” and with the
jumper termination resistance
