Configure the number of XMVs (if more than 1). When multiple XMVs connect to the port,
each of the XMVs must display on the navigation tree for individual configuration and
management.
Verify that the Port, Port Type and Protocol parameters reflect the values selected when the
application was added in the Communication Setup screen.
Configure or fine tune the communications parameters (if you configured them in step 11,
skip this step). The values for parameters must match those configured on the XIO COM port
where applicable.
If the Keep Open value field is: Close, select the field and select Keep Open.
