9.17 Instructions for measuring the current door opener
If you would like to control an already existing door opener and do not have any information about
the current consumption, determine whether the maximum power consumption will overload the
relay before connecting to the door video module relay.
To do this, measure the power consumption using a multimeter. Separate a live cable and switch
the ammeter in between (in series).
9.18 Application example "video module in front of every apartment door"
Often there is a desire to also place a video module in front of every apartment door in an
apartment building in order to get a 180 ° video of the area in front of the apartment door
(peepholes are usually very acute-angled in your field of vision).
This can be programmed for up to 16 apartment doors using the "Side entrance" function in the
video module.
