5. Make sure the code number on
the display matches the code
number on the test strip
container. If you miss seeing
the code number, remove the
test strip and reinsert it into the
meter.
6. When the blood drop symbol
flashes, obtain a blood drop
from your fingertip.
7. Hold the lancing device firmly
against the side of your
fingertip. Remember that the
opening where the lancet
comes out is not in the center
of the cap. Press the plunger
on the end of the device all
the way down to prime the
lancet and prick the finger. The
ACCU‑CHEK FastClix lancing
device is primed and pricks the
finger in a single push of the
plunger.
