11. ALWAYS use a new, sterile
lancet each time you test.
NEVER reuse a lancet that has
already been used. To load the
next lancet, slide the lever
forward (until it stops), then
slide it back all the way.
12. The lancet counter decreases
one number. For safety
reasons, once you advance to
a new lancet, you cannot go
back to a used lancet.
13. Wash hands thoroughly with
soap and water.
