14. ALWAYS use a new, sterile
lancet each time you test.
NEVER reuse a lancet that
has already been used. To
load the next lancet, slide the
lever forward (until it stops),
then slide it back all the way.
15. The lancet counter decreases
one number. For safety
reasons, once you advance
to a new lancet, you cannot
go back to a used lancet.
16. Wash hands thoroughly with
soap and water.

free of charge, our ACCU‑CHEK Softclix lancing device. Because the ACCU‑CHEK Softclix lancet has a
thicker diameter needle than the ACCU‑CHEK FastClix lancet, you may have better success when trying to
test from alternate sites.
