NOTE
• The meter uses one 3‑volt lithium battery, coin cell type CR2032. This type of battery can be found in
many stores. Always keep a spare packaged battery on hand.
• Be sure the battery goes in + side up, or facing you.
• After you change the battery, your meter prompts you to confirm the meter’s time and date settings.
See Chapter 4, “Setting the Time and Date.” All test results are saved in memory.
• All control and blood glucose test results remain saved in memory.
