4.2. Software
The HF remote control system does not need a special and complicated configuration.
All you need to run the system on the control desk is
•a desk software version 2.62
the remote control option (Infra Red) checked ( = ON) in the menu
CONFIGURATION, PERIPHERALS
If nothing else is specified, your system automatically by the default factory settings runs on
- RS232 serial communication port 1(normally located besides the floppy drive)
- Room ID 1 (see also: further explanations below)
- Product ID 1 (see also: further explanations below)
If these settings shall be changed on your control desk system, create a DOS file
hf.cfg in the path c:\vision10\
containing the following parameter settings:
Example: system connected to 2nd serial communication port, room number 2
and product identification number 1 (VISION 10)
ComPort= 2
RoomId = 2
ProductId= 2
The parameters
ComPort can contain the values 1 or 2
RoomId can contain 1 - 16
ProductId can contain 1 - 16
To obtain further information concerning the parameters ROOMID and PRODUCTID,
see in chapter MENU in the following.
