The inverter output side generally has higher
harmonic. When the motor is far from the
inverter, since there are many capacitors in the
circuit, certain harmonics will cause resonance in
the circuit and bring in the following results:
1 Degrade the motor insulation performance
and damage the motor for the long run.
2) Generate large leakage current and cause
frequent inverter protection action.
3) In general, if the distance between the
inverter and the motor exceeds 100 meters, output
AC reactor shall be installed.
