Check instrument fuse. Confirm that proper
voltage is being supplied to the instrument.
There could be a problem with the internal
switch that initiates the test. Try restarting
the instrument, or use the keypad to start
and cancel the test until service can be per-
formed on the instrument.
Often, poor repeatability is a result of poor
technique or not following recommended
procedures.
• Be certain that the sample probe is care-
fully cleaned between tests.
• See Repeatability Tips (Chapter 2).
• Possible sample probe problem.
Try restarting the instrument.
Instrument was unable to detect a freeze
plateau, and was therefore unable to give a
result.
• Retest sample, or run Clinitrol 290
