11 Lighting
The equipment with lighting components depends
on the model. If your e-bike does not have lighting
components when it is delivered, you can retrofit
them if necessary.
f If you need advice, contact a bicycle dealer.
For participation in road traffic, your e-bike must have the
following lighting components:
• Headlights,
• Rear light,
• Reflectors on the pedals,
• Side reflectors for front and rear wheel or side reflector
strips,
• White reflector at the front,
• Red rear reflector.
f Only use the e-bike in road traffic if all lighting compo-
nents comply with national and regional requirements.
f Have defective lighting replaced by a bicycle dealer.
