1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Overview
FWA-112VC is designed for the diverse network-application scenario based on Intel®
Atom® C3000 series SoC platform.
FWA-1112VC ALL series comes with IP40 and fan-less design. PN: FWA-1112VCXXXXXXXX
and FWA1112VCXXXXXXXX are Wide Temperature SKU. PN: FWA-1112VCLXXXXXXXX and
FWA1112VCLXXXXXXXX are Normal Temperature SKU. Except the dimension is slimmer,
ALL I/O configurations are identical with Wide Temperature SKU
Normal Temperature SKU supports operating temperature from 0C to 40C for ALL CPU
SKU.
Wide Temperature SKU supports operation temperature from -20C to 70C for 2core and
4core SKU; -20C to 60C for 8core SKU. Furthermore, better surge/ESD protection design is
implemented to comply with Level3 standard by following IEC-61000-4-5. From the
wireless viewpoint, its system design has reserved for the support of Wifi6 and 5G module
with up to 5x antenna.
From the performance perspective, application such as SDWAN, NFV, Content Filtering,
Unified Threat Management(UTM), Network Security Gateway, and Fire-wall could be ALL
fulfilled by FAW-1112VC. Due to the fan-less and IP40 design, hush environment such as
factory and gas station could be the potential deploying environment as well.
FWA-1112VC features 6x ethernet interfaces. 2core and 4core SKU comes with 6xRJ45
connector while 8core SKU comes with 4xRJ45 + 2x10G/1G SFP+ connectors. 1x RJ45
console port and 2x TypeA USB3.0 are included for ALL SKU.
In terms of the peripheral option, 1x M.2 M-key slot is reserved for 2280 SATAIII SSD
storage; 1x DDR4 So-DIMM slot is reserved for ECC/Non-ECC memory module that support
DDR4 1866/2133/2400 MHz with capacity up to 32GB; 1x M.2 E-key slot is reserved for
2230 Wifi5/Wifi6 module; 1x M.2 B-key slot is reserved for 3042/3052 LTE/5G module.

Except the table-top deployment, FWA-1112VC also comes with wall-mound kit and rack-
mount kit. Together with the features of IP40 and fan-less design, the diverse deploying
requirement could be achieved.
