Leak Sensor Open
Error ID: 0083
The leak sensor in the module has failed (open circuit).
The current through the leak sensor is dependent on temperature. A leak is
detected when solvent cools the leak sensor, causing the leak-sensor current to
change within defined limits. If the current falls outside the lower limit, the
error message is generated.
Probable cause Suggested actions
1 Leak sensor not connected to the Power
Switch board.
Ensure the leak sensor is connected correctly.
2 Defective leak sensor.
Exchange the leak sensor.
3 Leak sensor incorrectly routed, being
pinched by a metal component.
Exchange the leak sensor.
4 Power switch assembly defective
Exchange the power switch assembly.
