3 Installing Pattern Generator Cards
16720A Pattern Generator (4-card module)
1 Carefully slide the 4 cards half way into the mainframe slots.
2 Use four 2 x 10 cables to connect the modules. Cable the bottom
Expander Card to the Master Card first. Then cable the upper two
Expander Cards to the Master Card.
3 Gently slide the cabled assembly fully into the frame and tighten the
thumb screws.
Turn off the mainframe power before removing, replacing, or installing modules. For
instructions on installing modules into the logic analysis system frame, refer to page 26.
