5. Maintenance
Apart from adhering to operating instruc-
tions for grassland mowers, it is also
important to observe the following main-
tenance instructions.

Warning: Only do mainte-
nance work with the engine
shut off.
To prevent accidental start while
working on the cutter bar or the en-
gine, always remove the spark plug
connector from the spark plug.
Machine
Worm Gear
The worm gear is permanently lubri-
cated. Lubricating and servicing is not
necessary.
Checking and Adjusting Clutch
Play
For smooth clutch operation ensure that
the play on each clutch control lever is
at least 10mm. Check the clutch play
while the drives are disengaged.
If the clutch play needs readjustment,
adjust the cable-setting screws.

Undo locking nut (2)

Adjust the setting screw (1) in such
a way that the play on the clutch control
lever is at least 10mm.

Retighten the locking nut (2)
Ensure that the drives are disen-
gaged when the clutch control levers
are in position ”0”, this means wheels
and cutter bar come to a stop.
If it is no longer possible to adjust the
clutch play, the V-belt will need replace-
ment. For this purpose, contact your
professional AGRIA workshop.
