Check Engine Oil Level
Each time before you take up opera-
tion and after every 5 operating
hours!
l Check only with the engine shut off
and in horizontal position.
l Clean the oil filler plug (B/4 and D/4)
and its surrounding parts.
l Remove the oil filler plug. Clean the
oil-dipstick with a clean cloth and put it
all the way back in. Remove the oil dip-
stick and read the oil level.
l Refill oil, if the oil level is below the
bottom dip-stick mark. Refill engine oil
(see „Specifications“) up to the top mark
on the dip-stick.
Change Engine Oil
The first oil change is after 5 operat-
ing hours. Subsequent oil change in-
tervals are after 50 operating hours or
once a year, depending on which pe-
riod is completed first. At extreme strain
and high temperatures, change oil after
25 operating hours.
l Remove the drain and filler plug (B/4
and D/4).
l Pump the oil out through the filler
neck using a suction pump.
l Dispose of old oil properly!
l Fill fresh engine oil.
For oil quantity and quality, refer to chap-
ter „Specifications“.
If possible, use a
funnel or a similar
device to fill in oil.
Only change oil while
the engine is still
warm, but not hot –
danger of burns!
