l Fit the starter cord (8) into the bracket
(7) and guide it anti-clockwise through
the coil windings.
Fitting the Drive-Wheels
l Slide the anti-winding tubes (3) on
both ends of the wheel shaft (4)
l Fit the drive-wheels on the wheel
shaft (4) in such a way that the tread
lugs point forward (seen from above)
while the hub holes which accommodate
the linch pins point outside
l Insert the linch pin (1) through the
hole in the hub and wheel-shaft and lock
the pin.
Fitting the Cutter Bar
l Attach the knife driver (2) to the knife
with the hex head bolts (4) M8 x 12 and
the locking washers (3). Tighten the
bolts at a torque of 23 Nm (2.3kpm).
l Insert the knife driving stone (5) into
the knife driver in such a way that both
holes are aligned axially.
l Attach the cutter bar carrier pin (8)
with hex head bolts (6) and locking nuts
(7) to the cutter bar. Tighten the locking
nuts at 23 Nm (2.3 kpm).
l Attach the cutter bar to the mower
(see p21)
