The following table shows a step-by-step guide to the
complete defrosting process:
Carrying out a complete defrosting procedure
1. Relocate the products to other cabinets.
2. Unplug all mains plugs.
3. Open or remove the lid so that the cabinet can
defrost more effectively.
4. Remove all loose accessories, such as baskets,
separation grilles, etc.
5. Remove condensation. Either with a wet
vacuum cleaner (Adhere to the warning for
cabinets with R-290 or R-600a refrigerant), or
by drying it up with a cloth or sponge.
There is also the option of having a condensa-
tion drain with a plastic plug ( see Fig. 5) for
condensation in the base trough: In this case,
place the collecting tray below the drain before-
hand.
6. Wipe the cabinet dry and clean the interior.
7. Close the condensation drain again if there is
one in place.
8. Reinstall the accessory parts that were removed
beforehand.
9. Reposition the lid correctly and close it.
10. Plug the mains plug back in.
11. Defrosting is complete.
12. Monitor the internal temperature until the
required value (adjustment period: approx. 2
hours) is displayed again.
13. Product can be stored again.

11.3 Cleaning
WARNING
Risk caused by electric shock and refriger-
ant leakage.
The hot steam of a steam cleaner and the
high water pressure of a high pressure
cleaner may destroy electrical insulation
and electronic devices and damage the
refrigerant circuit.
Do not use any steam or high pressure
cleaners for cleaning.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to
sharp edges.
Sharp edges on the cabinet may cause cuts
to the hands.
It is absolutely imperative for you to
wear protective gloves.
notes
In order to prevent the cabinet being damaged,
please do not use any abrasive, chemically aggres-
sive or slightly flammable cleaning agents for clean-
ing.
AHT recommends cleaning the cabinet surfaces us-
ing a clean cloth moistened with water or cleaning
with slightly alkaline cleaning agents (e.g. neutral
soap and water) for large amounts of dirt.
The insulating lid can be cleaned as described above.
For glass lids, follow the cleaning instructions in the
following chapter “Glass cleaning”.
A special lubricant is located in the sliding frame. In
order to maintain the enhanced sliding property of
the lid, you should remove the dirt and dust from the
frame every now and then.
Do not scrape off or chip off the layer of ice or frost
with sharp objects or tools. There is a risk of dam-
age to the interior walls.
To clean, proceed as for a complete defrosting
procedure and clean as follows:
1. Remove the lid and follow the various cleaning
instructions according to the lid variant.
