• The use of any glass cleaners or other cleaning
agents available in stores is not permitted as they
destroy the sensitive coating.
Cleaning equipment:
Only a soft and completely clean cotton cloth may be
used to clean the coated glass surface.
note
• The use of abrasive microbre cloths, glass squee-
gees (wiper with rubber lips) and absorbent sponge
cloths or sponges is prohibited for cleaning sensitive
coatings.
12. Interior lighting
12.1 Cabinet with luminescent lamps
CAUTION
Risk of injury caused by glass breakage.
Glass parts and fragments of glass from
broken fluorescent lamps may cause cuts
to the hands .
➤ Only specialist personnel trained in elec-
trical technology are allowed to change
the fluorescent lamps.
➤ Wear safety gloves when removing frag-
ments of glass and any goods that may
have been damaged by them.
The following procedure must be taken when
changing the fluorescent lamp:
1. Unplug the cabinet/lighting network connection
cable and safeguard against unintentional start-up.

• The refrigeration procedure is interrupted in the
event that the combined cabinet/lighting network
connection cable and safeguard is unplugged. It
is therefore necessary to change the lamp rapidly.
2. Detach and pull out the lamp cover (transpar-
ent part) by pressing the housing together slightly
(→ see Fig.6).

3. Remove the faulty fluorescent lamp and dispose of
it in the correct manner.
4. Use a new special fluorescent lamp of the same
type in line with the note on the rating plate. This
lamp can be obtained from AHT customer services.
5. Reattach the lamp cover securely.
6. Plug the cabinet/lighting network connection cable
back in again.

12.2 Cabinet with LED bars

• Only the authorised AHT customer service team are
allowed to change the LED bars-
13. Taking the cabinet out of
service for longer periods
If the cabinet is decommissioned for an extended pe-
riod of time, the following procedure should be taken:
1. Remove all products.
2. Switch off the cabinet by unplugging the cabinet/
lighting network connection cable.
3. Open the lid and adjust the cabinet to room tem-
perature. The cabinet can then be cleaned.
4. Leave the lid slightly ajar (approx. 2–3 cm). The
ventilation prevents the formation of odours and
spores in the interior.
