Your phone allows you to connect a wide range of accessories. The EHS feature allows compatible
accessories to retrieve status information of the desk phone (ringing, in communication) but also to
control it (take or end a call).
This feature is useful when you are using accessories like headset or conference module with on-
hook/off-hook buttons, DECT base station with its associated DECT headset,...
Depending on the accessory and the connector used, you have to configure the integrated EHS to use
accessory better. By default, all options are disabled.
Access to the EHS configuration:
• Or (long press) Audiohub
• EHS
Here are some examples of EHS options to activate depending on the connected accessory and the
desired feature:
• Use the on-hook/off-hook button of a headset compatible with Android mobile connected to the
jack connector of your desk phone: Android (conform to Android specification:
https://source.android.com/devices/accessories/headset/jack-headset-spec).
• Hear the ringing in the device (headset for example) connected to the jack connector: Jack ring.
• Use an external ringer connected to the SATA connector: no activated option.
• Use a busy lamp connected to the SATA connector: no activated option.
• Use a wireless DECT headset connected to the jack connector: ACOM Jack only.
