5.9 Installing the convector system
Single-zone system
A traditional single-pipe system with an outlet and a return; see Figs. 11, 12, page 42.
Dual-zone system
To get a good temperature in both zones, especially where the zones are in direct contact with each
other or only separated by a curtain, there are a couple of parameters to keep in mind.
Each zone must have its own circulation pump. See Figs. 13, 14, page 43.

Because the pipes between convectors also emit heat, avoid running return pipes from one zone
through another. This is hard to do in caravans. Try to run return lines through the zone where the
customer can be expected to want a higher temperature. For example, many customers will want
a lower temperature in the sleeping compartment compared to the living area. In this case, a com-
mon return pipe can be laid through the living area.
5.10 Connecting to the heating system:
All boiler connections are located on one long side.
Pipes connecting to the heating system have a diameter of 22 mm. Red marking (Fig. 15/16, item 1)
indicates output heat to the system, while blue (Fig. 15/16, item 2) is the return line.

Burn hazard
The heating system gets very hot when in use. Heating pipes must be insulated or built-in to prevent
vehicle occupants from coming into contact with them.

3030 Plus
The non-return valve must not be located on the return line between the expansion vessel
and the boiler.
Corrosion damage
Never use copper pipes, joints and/or water tanks in the system. We recommend aluminium pipes.
