7. Pump installation
12 V potentiometer pump:
the normal position is 2, which is suitable in most instances. Install it on the boiler or in the system;
see Figs. 11-14, pp 42-43.
PWM-controlled 12 V pump:
normal setting is 2, which is suitable in most instances. Install on the boiler.
7.1 Pump installation 3030:
3030,Single-zone system
Choose between a 12 V potentiometer pump or a PWM -controlled 12 V pump.
1.
3030, double zone system
Two x 12 V potentiometer pumps are used to circulate the glycol in the system.

behind the service hatch and control zone 1.
2. A 12 V potentiometer pump is always connected to the optional connector on the circuit board
and control zone 2.
7.2 Installing pumps 3030 Plus:
3030 Plus, single zone system
1.
3030 Plus, dual zone system
In dual zones, there is a choice of using 2 or 3 pumps:
Solution with dual pumps:
1. A PWM-controlled 12 V pump and control zone 1 are factory installed.
2. A 12 V potentiometer pump is always connected to the optional connector on the circuit board
and control zone 2.
Solution with 3 pumps:
1. Connect a 12 V potentiometer pump and 3-way valve to the Alde Flow input on the option board
via a splitter, (part number 3030206), and must always be set to maximum (5). This is factory-in-
stalled on the boiler.
2. Dual pumps must then be connected for the 2 zones. There are dual-pump kits available for order
from Alde, e.g. part numbers 1900984, 1900981 and 1900982.
Connect the pumps as follows:
A. A 12 V potentiometer pump controls zone 1 and must be connected to the Pump zone 1 con-
nector, (Fig. 20, page 49).
B. Connect a 12 V potentiometer pump to the optional connector on the circuit board; it controls
Pump zone 2, (Fig. 20, page 49).
