Verify you're using the correct, undamaged cable properly connected between KESSv2 and the vehicle or ECU, and that the ECU is powered. Also, confirm you've selected the correct Family for the vehicle or ECU. Check that the green LED is lit while communicating with the vehicle or ECU. If issues persist, contact Technical Support with the error code and a detailed description of the operations performed.

Ensure the USB cable isn't damaged, and try another identical USB cable if possible. Always use the USB cable supplied with the standard kit. Do not use extension cords or other USB cables. Do not use a USB hub; connect the USB cable directly to your computer's USB port. If the problem persists, contact the Technical Support Service.

      If some families are displayed with a gray background and are not enabled on your AlienTech Test Equipment, check that your subscription has not expired and that the Family belongs to the package purchased. If you do not have a subscription, contact your dealer. If your subscription is active and the family is included in the package purchased, contact the Technical Support Service.
