The Compact 5000™ I/O EtherNet/IP adapters perform the following functions:
Facilitate high-speed data transfer across an EtherNet/IP network between Compact 5000 I/O modules and a Logix 5000™ controller.
Provide system-side and field-side power to Compact 5000 I/O modules.
Support as many as 31 Compact 5000 I/O modules
The adapters are configured with the Studio 5000 Logix Designer® application. For more information on how to use Compact 5000 I/O
EtherNet/IP adapters, including the compatible Logix 5000 controllers and Logix Designer application versions, see the publications that are listed
in Additional Resources
on page 20.
